THERE COMES A POINT WHERE
PUSHING HARDER IS NO LONGER THE ANSWER

For many professional women, life is full—career demands, family responsibilities, relationships, expectations, and the quiet pressure to keep everything moving forward.

Yoga In Bamboo Retreat
Detox & Nervous
System Reset

From the outside, it may look like success. But internally, the body often tells a different story.

Fatigue. Mental fog. Emotional overwhelm. Disconnection from self. Health issues.
A nervous system that has been in a constant state of output, without enough space to restore.

Over time, this level of demand begins to impact not only your energy, but your health, clarity, mood, and relationships.

This Detox & Nervous System Reset Retreat was created as a space to step away from that cycle—to pause, release, restore, and realign.

WHY NOW?

The timing of this retreat is intentional.

After a summer of travel, flexible routines, and often more indulgent eating, the body is naturally ready to reset. At the same time, the transition into fall—getting children back into school, reestablishing structure, and preparing for the final stretch of the year—can place additional demands on your nervous system.

This retreat offers a powerful opportunity to:

  • Gently detox and support your body after the summer months

  • Regulate and stabilize your nervous system before the busyness of the fall season

  • Learn practical tools and techniques you can use daily—especially as you move toward the holidays

Rather than waiting until you are depleted, this is a moment to restore proactively.

You’ve learned how to hold everything together. This is a space where you’re allowed to set it down.

THIS RETREAT IS FOR YOU IF…

You are a woman who…

  • Handles a lot, carries a lot, and rarely gives yourself permission to fully stop

  • Is successful or capable on the outside, but internally feels tired, overstimulated, or disconnected

  • Has been pushing through fatigue, brain fog, or emotional heaviness—and knows your body is asking for something different

  • Feels the impact of stress not just mentally, but physically—in your sleep, digestion, mood, or energy

  • Is constantly thinking, planning, or managing, and hasn’t had space to simply be

  • Wants clarity, but knows it won’t come from doing more—it will come from slowing down

  • Desires to feel grounded, regulated, and at peace in your body again

  • Is ready to release what your body has been holding—physically, emotionally, or mentally

  • Is open to learning how to support your nervous system in a way that is sustainable in real life

  • Wants tools and practices you can take home—not just a temporary reset

  • Is entering a new season and wants to feel clear, supported, and intentional as you move into it

  • Knows you need this… even if you can’t fully explain why.

Rest is not something you earn after exhaustion—it is something you choose before you lose yourself.

THE IMPORTANCE OF
DETOXING THE WHOLE BODY

Detox is not just physical.

While we often think of detoxing in terms of food and toxins, the body also holds:

Image_fx (6).png

Emotional Residue

Image_fx (7).png

Mental Overload

Image_fx (9).png

Environmental Stress

Image_fx (10).png

Unprocessed Experiences

True detoxification involves:

Image_fx (15).png

Releasing what the body has been storing

Image_fx (11).png

Supporting organs and systems that process toxins

Image_fx (16).png

Creating space for clarity, energy, and healing

When supported properly, the body knows how to heal.
This retreat simply creates the environment for that process to happen.

THE IMPORTANCE OF
NERVOUS SYSTEM REGULATION

Your nervous system determines how you experience your life.

When DYSREGULATED, you may feel:

Anxious or constantly “on”, with racing thoughts, hypervigilance

Exhausted but unable to rest

Emotionally reactive or shut down

Disconnected from your body, numbness, emotional disconnected from others

Inability to concentrate and focus

Respond to stressful situations with a fight, flight, freeze, or fawn response.

When REGULATED, you experience:

Clarity of mind and thoughts

Calm & focus state in navigating stressful situations

Emotional balance and resilience, able to process emotions in the moment

Improved health and faster recovery

Feel safe, open, & connected in relationships

Your body has been carrying what your mind has tried to manage. This is your opportunity to release both.

Michelle Reed

Massage Therapist, Manicurist & Esthetician

Providing 45-minute massage sessions (additional services available)

For over two decades, I have been utilizing my expertise in massage therapy to ease the discomfort and dysfunction of my clients. My passion for expanding my knowledge of the human body has led me to pursue other fields, such as esthetics and nails, lash extension certification, and a degree in Radiologic Technology. As an X-ray technologist, I occasionally collaborate with local orthopedic doctors.

The picture on the left shows my struggles with rosacea in 2019, which was particularly severe during my time in Rad Tech school. After consulting with dermatologists and primary care physicians, it was determined that my body was exhibiting signs of liver problems. I decided to modify my dietary habits and lifestyle choices to include more exercise and infrared sauna usage, which resulted in significant improvement in my skin condition.

So with this life lesson, I am eager to provide more insight into how we can improve our well-being, especially given how much life has changed for many people since 2020.
