As women, how often do we have the opportunity to create the space to gather, be vulnerable, be witnessed, be heard, be held, and be helped? 

 

July is Fibroid Awareness Month. We are creating a safe space for black women living with fibroids to join together to do just that and so much more.

Many women suffer in silence with this condition and feel alone navigating through their healing journey. You are not alone, not anymore!

Fibroids are non-cancerous tumors that grow in the wall of the uterus. Most American women will develop them at some point in their lives. An estimated 26 million Americans have fibroids, and of those, about 15 million suffer from debilitating symptoms, including:

• heavy menstrual bleeding

• intense pelvic pressure or pain

• bladder problems

• fertility issues

• growing stomach area

• and various other symptoms.

Followed by emotional symptoms such as:

• Depression

• Anxiety

• Worry

• Fear

• Insecurity

• Frustration

• Helplessness & 

• Self-image issues.

 

Black women are at increased risk for the condition compared to other women. They also develop fibroids earlier in life, have larger and more numerous tumors, report more intense symptoms, and have higher rates of surgery and hospitalization than other women. Why is this the case? What is the cause?

 

During our weekend together we will explore and:

• dive into the spiritual and physical reasons black women are more prone to greater fibroids with greater difficulties

• learn the many different options for treatments & resources available

• eat and drink the foods/liquids that help to foster fibroid healing

• learn how to change our relationship with food

• experience empowerment through personal journey telling and hearing the journey of others

• receive trauma release massage and/or abdominal massage

• receive personal spiritual guidance for life.

 

Through the work of elemental purification, breathwork, movement, prayer, ancestral healing & meditation, we will deepen our connection to the source of our power and we will release the deeply embedded root cause of fibroids on the emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. Until the underlying reason for the existence of fibroids in the body is revealed and healed, even after surgical removal or natural shrinkage, the door is open for them to return again and again,

There is power in symmetry.  On each day of the retreat we will wear particular colors to set the tone and intention of the area of focus we will be sending healing power and attention to. The attire is casual and comfortable.

Sunday - Wear WHITE

During our weekend together we will be connecting to experience deep healing, remember our power, lift each other up, and be the force of much-needed healing in our bodies, spirits, and lives.

This retreat will take place in a beautiful AirBnb home in Granbury, TX. All accommodation info is below. There are shared sleep arrangements. Fees are based on the room assignments which you can request during your registration.

REFUND POLICY

If you want/need to cancel, you have up to July 14th. You will be refunded your registration fee minus the processing fee. If cancelation is requested after the 14th then high of your registration minus the process fee will be refunded.
