PRE-RETREAT GUIDANCE
& POST-RETREAT SUPPORT
“THE BODY REMEMBERS"
A 3-Day Sexual Trauma Healing Series
April 21–23 | 12:00–1:00 PM CST
The Body Remembers is a 3-day live healing series for women who are ready to stop carrying the impact of sexual trauma in their body and begin releasing it in a safe, supported way.
Through guided insight, somatic practices, and real conversation, you’ll start reconnecting with yourself and experience what it feels like to move forward—without holding it the same way.

PRE-RETREAT
ZOOM CALL
To support the experience of those who register for the retreat, you will be invited into a pre-retreat Zoom call September 28th at 6pm, where you will:
-
Learn how to prepare your nervous system

-
Receive guidance on emotional and physical readiness

-
Begin gently opening the body for the work ahead
This ensures you arrive feeling prepared, supported, and grounded.
POST-RETREAT SUPPORT
Healing doesn’t end when the retreat does.
For many women, it’s after returning home that deeper layers begin to surface.
To support this, you’ll be invited into a 3-month integration experience with biweekly group calls. These sessions provide a space to stay connected, receive guidance, and navigate anything that arises as your body continues to process and release.
You’ll gain practical tools, journaling prompts, and support to help you move through triggers and integrate the work in a grounded, sustainable way.
You won’t be left to process this alone—this is about continued support, connection, and integration.

There is nothing wrong with you—there are simply experiences that were never fully processed.

WHY THIS RETREAT EXISTS
Sexual trauma is far more common than most conversations reflect—and far less resolved than it should be.
-
More than 1 in 2 women have experienced some form of sexual violence
-
Nearly 2 out of 3 cases involve someone the woman knows
-
Many of these experiences occur within relationships, families, or homes

This is not rare. And yet, most women are left to carry it on their own.
Not because they are unaware—but because they have never had the right space to fully release it.
So, they adapt. They move forward. They keep living. They build their lives. They function at a high level.
But they are still carrying it.
This retreat was not created for women who need to be convinced to heal.
It was created for women who are done carrying it.
Women who are ready to face what’s there— not to relive it, but to release it.
Women who are no longer interested in coping… but in reclaiming their body, their power, and their life.
This is a structured, trauma-aware environment designed to support deep, intentional release—without force, but with full responsibility.
Because this level of healing does not come from awareness alone—it comes from the decision to no longer live under the weight of it.
WHY THIS RETREAT
IS DIFFERENT
This is not a surface-level experience—and it’s not designed to help you simply cope.
Most spaces focus on talking or mindset.
This retreat works with the body—where the experience is actually stored.
After your nervous system has been regulated to support your healing—somatic release, breathwork, and guided emotional processing techniques will be used to release what’s been held—without force or overwhelm.
This space is for women who are ready.
Not just to understand what happened—but to finally release it and move forward.
Because this level of healing doesn’t come from information alone— it comes from being in the right environment, doing the right work to free the body, mind, and soul.

WHY NOW
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. It brings attention to experiences many women have had—but may not have fully addressed.
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, which brings another layer of truth into focus— that many of these experiences are not isolated.
They happen within relationships. Within families.
Within spaces that were supposed to feel safe.
This retreat is intentionally placed between the two.
April brings awareness. October is where you choose to do something about it.
Not later. Not someday. Now—with time to prepare, and the decision to stop carrying it the same way.
What was held in silence can be released in safety.

Hi my name is Audrey Bushman with Tui Energy. My practice is rooted in compassion, integrity, and respect for each individual’s unique journey.
I have a deep love and desire to propel this healing process forward because of how much joy and freedom I have found through many different healing methods including yoga, reiki, craniosacral trauma release, and many more.
After leaving a cult, a toxic marriage, and a major health crisis, I have found a path forward that inspires me to provide a nurturing and supportive space for others to explore their own healing potential.

Anetra Parker
Survivor, Entrepreneur, and Guide for Women Healing from Sexual Trauma
Anetra has been journaling since she was a teenager—filling notebooks with her thoughts, dreams, and the pain she couldn't speak out loud. For decades, she carried the weight of childhood sexual abuse and adult sexual assault in silence. Like many survivors, she struggled with migraines, disconnection from her body, and the exhausting work of appearing "fine" while breaking apart inside.
It wasn't until she began journaling specifically about her trauma—raw, unfiltered, and unapologetic—that she found a path to healing. Through somatic practices, expressive writing, and body-based healing modalities, Anetra learned to listen to her body's wisdom, release the rage she'd been taught to suppress, and reclaim her voice, her story, and her power.
Anetra is the author of Healing Through Journaling: A 90-Day Companion for Women Recovering from Sexual Trauma (October 2026), a trauma-informed journal designed to guide women through sacred space creation, rage release, and radical reclamation.
She brings lived experience, practical tools, and deep compassion to her work supporting women on their healing journeys. Anetra lives in Dallas, Texas.
What was once carried in silence can now be released in safety.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: What if I get triggered or overwhelmed during the retreat?
A: Professional therapeutic support is available throughout the retreat. You can step out of any session at any time. We have quiet spaces for grounding and rest. You are never required to share or participate beyond your comfort level. Your safety is
our priority.
-
Q: What if I'm not "ready" for this work?
A: Only you know if you're ready. If you're considering this retreat, that's often a sign your body is calling you toward healing. During the registration call, I’ll personally assess your readiness for this journey. If it turns out you’re not ready, therapy is the next suggested place to begin. Don’t worry—you’ll be supported throughout the registration process in determining whether this is right for you.
-
Q: Will we be doing body work? I'm not comfortable with touch.
A: An energy balancing practitioner will provide one‑on‑one sessions for each participant. A core goal of this retreat is to reconnect with the body and to feel safe within it. Sometimes, touch is used as a way of testing and supporting that reconnection. If you’re not ready for this work, therapy is the suggested place to begin. You’ll be guided through the registration process to help determine your readiness, so you’ll be supported every step of the way.
-
Q: Can I bring a support person?
A: This retreat is designed for survivors only. We cannot accommodate support people or partners. However, strong community and connection will be cultivated among retreat participants to help everyone feel safe and supported.
-
Q: Is this retreat only for recent trauma?
A: No. This retreat serves women healing from sexual trauma that happened at any point in their lives—childhood, adolescence, or adulthood.
-
Q: What's the refund policy?
A: The $150 deposit is always non‑refundable but transferrable. If a participant has already made additional payments beyond the deposit, those payments can be refunded according to the cancellation timeline, but the deposit itself will not be returned. This balances fairness for participants with financial protection for the retreat.
